David Sons
David Sons serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church North Augusta in South Carolina. He graduated from North Greenville University in 2008 with a B.A. in Communications and received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. David came to FBC North Augusta in 2025, and previously served as pastor of Lake Murray Baptist Church. David is the recent past-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention, and served as chairman of the SBC Committee on Resolutions in 2023. He is married to Allyson, and they have four children. David is the regular host of The Baptist Review podcast.
